Originally from Kenya, Lilian has a vision to see a world where diverse people realise their full potential and thrive because of their difference.
With qualifications in Psychology, Counselling, Training & Assessment, Lilian has deep intercultural capability having worked in the Private, Public and Not for Profit sectors for 13 years in organisations like Medibank Private, WorkSafe Victoria and Mission Australia.
A former member of Medibank Private’s Gender Equality work group, Lilian was a strong contributor to achieving gender equity in this top 100 ASX listed company, which has been awarded the employer of choice for gender equality by Australian Government’s Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA).
In her speaking and facilitation, Lilian leverages her cultural diverse background to inspire individuals to fulfil their potential and thrive because of their difference. Lilian has presented to a diverse audience from Medibank Private, Western Bulldogs AFL club, Parkville Juvenile Corrections Centre and Melton City Council.
Lilian is passionate about helping organisations bring life to D&I policies and embed best practice in the DNA of their workforce. Consequently, attracting and retaining the best talent that will deliver a competitive edge for the organisation in the marketplace.
